The Great Promise
I promise
To love you all yours days
To be your lifelong partner, cherish
all the vows we made
To be your shelter in a storm,
the wind beneath your wings
To be the one who understands
and shares all life may bring
To spend my days by your side,
walking hand in hand with you
To share the beauty of the world,
sunny days and skies of blue
as we begin our beautiful journey together
